On The Road Again…

It’s been a fair while since I updated this blog, mainly because I’ve been busy writing Railhead 2, which I hope I’ll soon be able to tell you more about. Also, the events season is in full swing again. Last week Sarah McIntyre and I took the Pugs Roadshow to Oundle and Peterborough, where we were the guests of Helen Shair and the Oundle Festival of Literature. You can find details of some forthcoming Pugs events here.

On Saturday 2nd April I’ll be joint Philip Womack and Frances Hardinge on stage at the Oxford Literary Festival to talk about journeys through ‘time and imagination’ – which means Railhead in my case, I guess. And on the 2nd June I’ll be talking Railhead again at the Listowel Writers’ Week in Ireland – check out the rest of their packed programme here.

Switch Press are publishing the U.S. edition of Railhead on 1st April, and there’s a chance to win an ARC (bound proof) on their website. To mark the U.S. publication I’m planning to update the Railhead A-Z blog posts which I scattered all over the blogosphere last autumn, and gather them all together in one place – here. So that’s my next job, if I can resist the temptation to run off outside in the spring sunshine…
